About

Established in 1959, the Hyak Ski Patrol is a group of dedicated volunteers, brought together by our love of the outdoors, and the desire to help other people. If on the way, we have some fun, so much the better. Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Mechanics, Fire Fighters, Contractors, Students, Nurses, Computer programmers, Salesmen, Homemakers and Retired Professionals. Members of the Hyak Ski Patrol are diverse and have been specifically trained for the demanding task of rescuing and caring for injured or ill patients in the outdoors, alpine and winter environments.

Our Mission

1. Serve the skiing and riding public, without charge, in rescue and emergency care treatment;

2. Serve the Summit at Snoqualmie area management, at their request, as a trained and skillful emergency care and rescue organization;

3. Promote safety and accident prevention in coordination with the Summit at Snoqualmie area management, the National Ski Patrol (NSP), the United States Ski Association, the National Ski Area Operations Association, government agencies, local law enforcement agencies, and other regroups devoted to the promotion of outdoor sports safety.
